Made-in-India MRI eventualized with the opening of Time Medical manufacturing plant in AMTZ

India’s first manufacturing plant to produce made-in-India MRI opens today in Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) Vishakhapatnam, within one of the largest medical technology manufacturing cluster in the world.
With an initial phase of 100 MR systems capacity annually, this plant aims to bring new generation MRI technology for Indian population, primarily focusing on producing “Made in India” 1.5T MR systems for both local India market needs and exporting to global markets.

Time Medical Asia CEO, Ravindran Govindan said: “We are honoured to have Secretary- Dept of Health Research, Ministry of Health & DG of ICMR gracing the park event, to inaugurate our manufacturing facility. This India facility can help the Company better reach out to markets in US, Europe, Middle East & Africa where trade policies are favourable to India.
